Which Law Allows You to Possess Marijuana in Pennsylvania?

Governor Tom Wolf approved Senate Bill 3 on April 17, 2016, allowing marijuana use for medical purposes within the state's borders. The law permitted patients to use marijuana for a number of recognised medical illnesses with a licenced doctor's consent.

With the passage of Senate Bill 3, the Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) assumed leadership of the medicinal marijuana program.
